Like most 90's babies, easybake ovens were part of my childhood and an obsession.  True; I had no patience for waiting until the buzzer, but I enjoyed the process - mixing, evening out the dough, the works. It was only a matter of time before I graduated to a real oven and recipes with numerous steps and methods I had to learn.  With every floured t-shirt and messy counter, I found myself further immersed in the cozy, relieving atmosphere of baking.  And an apron and cleaning as I go.

 

My path to being a baker came unexpectedly.  Like any artist, I adore every guilty pleasure I create.  From the Protein Cinnamon Crumble Banana Bread to the Pumpkin Pies I make every autumn.  With every recipe, I'm learning something new a tablespoon at a time.
